Overview of CY2022 Final Rules,
1st of 2 December Sessions

 Presented by Kim Stupica-Dobbs

Regional Administrator, CMS Kansas City (Region 7), Local Engagement & Administration Office of Program Operations & Local Engagement (OPOLE)

In CMS's December 8 webinar, Kim will share a quick overview of the important provisions in the following:

  • CY2022 Physician Fee Schedule (including Quality Payment Program),
  • Outpatient Prospective Payment System & Ambulatory Surgical Center
  • Home Health Prospective Payment System Final Rules.
  • In addition to the CY2022 Final Rules, Kim briefly will discuss the Interim Final Rule with Comment Period issued on November 4 pertaining to the COVID-19 Vaccination for Health Care Workers.
  • Hopefully there will be time for a Q&A.

For the second webinar on December 21. Michelle Wineinger will focus on a more in-depth dive into some of the CY2022 Final and Interim Rule provisions, as well as an extended Q&A time for participants.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is so much to unpack for members and the CMS Kansas City Regional Office wants to make sure everyone has an opportunity to hear information on all of the rules. Rather than splitting the information up, the first Final Rule session on December 8 will be a brief overview of each of the rules with highlights of elements practice managers need to be aware of. The second session on December 21 will be a more in-depth look at a few of the provisions with an extended Q&A opportunity for participants regarding topics from both webinars.
